Personal Development Skills

Recently the VCAL students organised a Halloween activity for the Year Two students as part of their Personal Development Skills studies. The students spent hours researching special activities to include in the activity which would hold interest for the students as well as be an enjoyable task. The activities provided were: 'Ghost Throw', which involved throwing a beanbag into the ghost’s mouth; making dangling paper skeleton; making a Trick or Treat Bag; making a bat headband; making a bookmark; colouring activities; wrapping up a cardboard mummy, making a ghost hand; making a Halloween cube and pinning a spider’s body to its legs. The function was very popular and the Year 11 students can’t wait to do another activity when the opportunity arises. A big thank you to the dedicated Library staff, especially Ms Caparo and Ms Meszaros, for their wonderful support with the event.
