Student Leaders Commissioning Retreat & Mass
Next week we embark on the Student Leadership Retreat with our incoming leadership team. This retreat is an opportunity for the Student Leaders to build strong relationships and focus on leadership dynamics, as well as key issues & opportunities for positive change.
The Retreat is designed to create alignment around a common vision for the future of Brigidine College. Our leaders are incredibly excited to spend this time planning their initiatives for the College over the next year. We look forward to bringing these to life within our Brigidine community.
A reminder that we will celebrate our Commissioning Mass for our 2023 Student Leadership Team next Thursday. Invitations were sent to parents; however, I have included the details below:
Date: Thursday 3 November
Location: Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Parish, Randwick
Time: 5:30pm
RSVP: info@bcrandwick.catholic.edu.au
World Youth Day Update
For our families who expressed interest in attending Portugal in 2023, Sydney Catholic Schools anticipates that Confirmation of Interest & the portal for deposits will open in early November.
The Italy Pilgrimage will now fly directly to Rome rather than Venice. Please see the brochure here for more information.
I will be in contact with families who expressed interest as soon as this information is received. If any other students are interested in attending the three-week pilgrimage, please email me at jamielee.wood@syd.catholic.edu for further information.
Archdiocesan RE Test
Congratulations to Years 8 and 10 we completed the Archdiocesan RE Test last week. The results should be available to us in early December, and we will celebrate this achievement at our Presentation Day ceremonies in the last week of Term 4.
