2023 PRODUCTION!

Nossal High School presents Legally Blonde Jr The Musical

Thursday 13 - Saturday 15 July

Nossal High School's 2023 production is Legally Blonde Jr The Musical.

Please join us as our talented students present Legally Blonde Jr the Musical. Based on the novel by Amanda Brown and the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer motion picture.

Delta Nu sorority president Elle Woods seems to have it all: good looks, a relationship with the “campus catch,” and great taste in clothes. However her life is turned upside-down when her boyfriend, Warner, dumps her in an attempt to start getting “serious” about his future and attend Harvard Law. Determined to win him back, Elle uses a lot of hard work and some charm to get into Harvard Law so she can prove to Warner that she’s serious enough for him. Once at school, she is challenged by her peers, professors and her ex, but with the help of some new friends, Elle realises her potential and sets out to prove herself to the world.

2023 Year 12 Formal

In the chronicles of cherished memories, few occasions hold as much significance as the Year 12 formal. A milestone event marking the culmination of years of hard work and camaraderie, the Year 12 formal at the illustrious Vogue Ballroom in Burwood proved to be an extraordinary celebration. From the impeccable venue and delectable cuisine to the endless merriment that filled the night, this unforgettable event left an indelible mark on the hearts and minds of all attendees. Looking back at the photographs, the flood of memories evokes a deep sense of nostalgia and appreciation for a truly remarkable evening.

From the very first dance to the final moments of the night at 11 p.m., the Year 12 formal at the Vogue Ballroom brimmed with exuberance and joy. The evening was curated with entertainment and excitement in the form of musical performances such as Keertan Vinu, Chanilka Wijasena, and Farhan Andalib performing "Cupid" by fifty-fifty, Evalyn Bui and Thiyesha Henderson performing "The Night we met" and Vaidehi Vikraman and Chanumi Nakandala performing "Marvin Gaye" by Meghan Trainor and Charlie Puth. The other key and memorable event of the evening were our superlative awards of " Best Dressed" which went to Chanilka Wijasena and Aadhi Konar, " Cutest Couple" which went to Lachlan Trinh and Varshaa Kantaraj and the "Main Character" award that went to Wageesha Hewaarachchi.

From the elegant setting and the engaging events to the endless enjoyment that permeated the night, every aspect of the event contributed to an unforgettable experience. Thank you to my fellow members of the formal committee as well as Ms. Soltys who worked incredibly hard to make this night a truly amazing event for all.
