Boarding School News
On Sunday, we will open the boarding doors again and welcome back everyone for Term 2. We welcome also to our boarding family, Year 9 boarder, Macy, from Kununurra, Western Australia.
The most exciting venture of the holiday break has been the renovation of our Boarding House Kitchen. I can’t wait for the girls to see the upgrade which will have them moving easily around for meals.
A reminder that as per the school’s Uniform Policy, please ensure your daughter returns to boarding school ready with no fake tanning, no acrylic nails, no false eyelashes, one natural coloured hair colour and only one piercing in each ear lobe.
We have many fun activities planned for Term 2 with the following major events taking place:
Tuesday 25 April
ANZAC Day Dawn Service in the City
Saturday 13 May
Year 7 to 9 Disco for all boarding schools
Parent volunteers required
Friday 9 June
Year 11 Soiree
Sunday 14 May to Saturday 20 May
National Boarding Week
I will also be hitting the road again to showcase our wonderful school and Boarding House with Dr Cousins and other members of our Engagement Team. Invitations to attend community events while visiting areas will be sent out prior to each visit to catch up with current, past, and enrolled boarding families and Old Collegians.
Welcome back to Term 2, I look forward to seeing you soon.
