SCHOLASTIC BOOK CLUB ORDERS

It would be appreciated if parents could fill out the 'hard copy' order form.

It can be difficult to read the child's handwriting at times and our lovely volunteer Mum who collates the orders needs to check with the office staff to ascertain the correct name.

DRINK BOTTLES

Please make sure all students bring a labeled drink bottle to school which can be re-filled at the taps. We have had to hand out a number of plastic drink cups to students who have forgotten their drink bottles - which isn't very friendly for the environment.

MEDICATION

There are times when your child will require medication during school hours. If this happens the medication needs to be brought to the office and a medical authorization form must be filled out by a parent or guardian. Students must not keep medication in their bags. Thank you.

UNIFORM LABELING

Please ensure that all clothing items are labeled clearly. Children quite often put on a jumper belonging to someone else. Show your child where you have named their clothing, so they know to look for their name before putting an item of clothing on or in their bag to take home. Remember that the washing machine removes names slowly over time so check occasionally to make sure the name is still visible. If your child comes home with someone else's clothing item please return it to the school the next day.

Please note the Canteen is only open on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday until further notice. There have been a couple of menu and pricing adjustments to the current canteen menu. Please check the menu attached for changes. Thank you.

CPAC Musical Theatre - Auditions for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

CPAC Musical Theatre, the premiere musical theatre company in the shire of Cardinia, is producing the Broadway hit CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY - the Musical, based on the novel by Roald Dahl.

We are reaching out today as we are looking not only for 14-17-year-olds to create the roles of the five Lucky Golden Ticket winners, Augustas Gloop, Verruca Salt, Violet Beauregard (a POC role), Mike Teaveee, and of course, the famous Charlie Bucket; we are also searching for a cast of talented children 8-12 yrs old (on the short side) to play our Oompah Loompas.

We are looking at a cast of forty children, so there is plenty of exciting opportunity to be involved in this production for those who are always singing and dancing their way to class.

Our production is child friendly with rehearsals and will be on in August and September of this year.

We will also be in touch Once tickets go on sale, engage your school by helping us promote the show and any of your students who land a place in our Cast.

Audition booking can be made from Monday 20th March.
