Principal's Report 

2020 Event Information 

Under current DET advice and Operations Guide information, we are unable to lift many restrictions we are still under.  As such, we are trying to provide timely and appropriate information for families (and staff) to forward plan in relation to events that occur between now and the end of the 2020 school year.

Below, is key event information impacted by current restrictions, and will be our 2020 approach:

• Whole School Assemblies will remain on WebEx for 2020 (links in the newsletter and on Sentral to continue)
• Volunteer Morning Tea - WebEx (Monday 7 December, 11am)
• National Transition Day to proceed in 2021 class groups (we will need to monitor Secondary Schools approaches for our Yr6 students), staff will wipe down touch surfaces before resumption of normal classes at 12:30
• Graduation Luncheon for students only at school.  Parents will attend via WebEx, Monday 14 December. (student location and event information to be confirmed)
• No Class parties for 2020.  Shared foods, sausage sizzles etc not permitted (KK may be an option with $10 limits, but await your child's classroom teacher to notify)
• Year Level end of year activities to proceed with max. numbers restrictions adhered to.
• No walk to school day event; and
• Presentation Evening will be conducted via WebEx (Wednesday 16 December, 6pm)

Student Arrival Time

Thank you to all families for the ongoing support in student arrivals between 8:45-9:00am. Using separate gate entries (F-2 front of school & Yr3-6 East entry) and having students move directly to classrooms, with no play, is assisting in keeping us all safe.

If you need to have your child/ren arrive before 8:45am, you must enroll students in Before School Care - packs/information available from the school office.
