From the Principal

We would like to acknowledge the original custodians of this land

and pay our respects to the Elders both past, present and future

for they hold the memories, the traditions, the culture and hopes of Indigenous Australia.

The Assumption

Last Monday we celebrated the Feast of the Assumption and it brought to mind that we are all called to this earth for a mission.   Like Mary, our personal faith sustains us to face the challenges that are in our lives.  At the moment these challenges are great to say the least, but with optimism and strength, we are given the possibility to succeed.  We are called to take action and be disciples who follow the guide of the people before us, who were able to bring hope to families and friends because of their commitment to do the best they could with whatever means available.  Please stay strong.

Book Week

The students and staff will be celebrating Book Week next week and there will be a large number of activities that families can take part in.  Perhaps this may be an opportunity for those of you whom are still working at home to participate and celebrate your mission as parents or carers.  Like Mary our Mother  who listened to God and embraced the mission that  was put before front of her.

Preparation for 2022 Classes

I would appreciate it if you will notify me if any current student in Years Prep to Year 5 will not be returning to our school next year.  This will allow us to prepare classes for next year.

Stay safe

Kind regards

Margaret Carlei
