NEW - Mooroopna Carols in The Park

Saturday 14 December 6:30pm to 9:30pm, John Gray Oval, McLennan St, Mooroopna.

The Kiwanis Club of Mooroopna have ran Christmas Carols in Mooroopna since 1984. This will be the 36th Mooroopna Carols.

There is no admission fee, people attending should bring a rug or chair.

There will be a special  visit from Santa.

Kiwanis BBQ will be operating  with Cold Drinks available to purchase and battery operated LED candles will be on sale. Children activities available with a Jumping castle on site - “free jumping”.

This year the Carols will finish with  a Fire  Works Display.

This is a Community Event presented by the Kiwanis Club of Mooroopna.

NEW - Vic Swim Victoria

VICSWIM is an intensive, learn to swim program for Victorian Children that runs from January 6th to 24th in 2020. The program is run by fully qualified and highly experienced teachers, operating in small classes in Mooroopna.

Enrolments are open for week 1, 2 and 3 of the program, running from Monday-Friday of each week. Classes run for half an hour and are only $30 per child, per week. Life Saving Victoria has recorded the states worst drowning toll in two decades. Between the 2018-2019 financial year, 56 people drowned in Victorian waterways and paramedics were called to 101 near-drownings. VICSWIM strongly urges that all children have the opportunity to access water safety education, so that your kids are confident enough to safely enjoy summer with the whole family.

Mercy Access - Volunteers

Mercy Access provides assistance to Aboriginal children from Catholic schools and from all schools in a Homework Club.  We invite volunteers to assist in this In-School Program or/and Gowola Homework Club Program NOW. Hopefully, volunteers would have had previous experience, or an interest in the field of education. Indications of interest would be welcome immediately.
