Dear Parents/Guardians

Welcome to our first newsletter of 2023 and the 25th year of operation at Heatherton Christian College! A very big birthday celebration is only a year away. We have enjoyed welcoming back our families for another year of growth and learning. As we kick off this milestone year, I would like to remind you of our college theme, "STRONGER". This theme is based on the verses in the book of Isaiah. Chapter 40 verse 31 states, “ But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”

I want to emphasize that we are not just looking to strengthen processes and programs, but also looking to cultivate a culture that values growth, resilience, progress and most of all a recognition that it is through Jesus Christ that we grow in strength. Our programs and curriculum are designed to challenge and inspire our students to become stronger individuals, both academically and personally and underpinning all this, is our commitment to walking together in Christian community.

This year, we are committed to pushing our students to make real progress. We will continue to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment, where every student can thrive and reach their full potential. We will also focus on strengthening our partnerships with parents and the wider community to ensure that we are all working together to create the best possible future for our students.

We are thrilled to embark on this new year and look forward to seeing our students grow stronger every day. Thank you for entrusting us with your child's education and for being a part of the Heatherton Christian College community.
