BTA Showcase - At the Movies

This year, the four BTA music departments have decided to come together to hold the first BTA Showcase. This will take place on Friday 26th October at 7.30pm in the SHS Hall. Students will be performing in combined ensembles as well as each school providing one other ensemble to play during the night.

The theme for the night is At the Movies, so we are asking the students (and audience members if they feel like it) to dress as their favourite movie character.

Tickets are $10 per adult, $5 child and $25 for a family ticket. BYO basket supper and drinks. It will be a fantastic night with some great performances. More information about ticket sales will be out early next term. 

Alliance Band - VSMF

On Thursday 30th August, the Alliance Band travelled to Bendigo to perform in the Victorian Schools Music Festival at the Ulumburra Theatre.

The band performed very well and earned a Gold award for their effort. This is the band’s best result in the four years we’ve been performing together!
