Vocal Masterclass Term 3 

Students who learn to sing at SHS performed this weeks at vocal masterclass on Tuesday 18th September.

The theme was songs from a musical or movie soundtrack and students performed on the stage in the hall to each other, with a focus on communicating the story of the song with their facial and body movements.  

Excerpts from the movie/musical played on the screen as they sang. All students performed extremely well and it was easy to see an improvement in many areas – in particular -  lyric memory, expression, musicality and confidence.

Next term will be the end-of-year concert. Get the date in your diary now – Tuesday 20th November in the Music Centre. All welcome.
