Swimming Carnival

We are looking forward to all of our students participating at our upcoming whole school Swimming Carnival, which will be held on Tuesday, the 21st of February at the Wangaratta Sports & Aquatic Centre.

We request all students attend their Homeroom at 9am on the day to be marked off the roll call and staff will supervise students walking to the centre.

Parents/carers can consent via Compass. If there are any issues, please contact our office on 03 5723 0500.

Entering Events

Students will have the opportunity to sign up for competitive freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly events during upcoming house meetings. Students that do not wish to compete will have the opportunity to support their house by participating on the day with novelty events both in and out of the water and by simply cheering their fellow house members. 

Dress Code

We welcome students to dress in the house colours - strictly no coloured body paint if you are planning on entering the water or lifeguard costumes. 

Facility Rules

The Wangaratta Sports & Aquatic Centre indoor area will be out of bounds on the day.  Toilet access will be restricted to outside using the cricket facility. 

Canteen

Our Prefects and VCAL students are joining together to provide food, drinks and treats on the day. Please ensure you bring cash for any purchases. If you do not wish to purchase food or drink items on the day, please ensure you bring sufficient quantities of food and drink for the day.
