“Hello parents/guardians,

A key component of community safety within Maroondah City Council and all schools is making sure our children arrive safely at school. This is where the crucial role of our School Crossing Supervisors comes into play! We currently have a great team of supervisors who help keep our school students and community safe, and are looking for more to join our team.

The hours are set (usually 8.00-9.00am and 3.00-4.00pm), there is no overtime, and it is a great chance to earn some extra cash at a good pay rate ($36.81 per hour). The flexibility of the role means you can work close to home and offer to work as much or as little as fits into your schedule.

We are also looking for people who may wish to only assist at their children or grandchildren’s school and help cover shifts when other supervisors are unavailable.

If you know of anyone who may be interested, whether it be family, friends or neighbours, please encourage them to apply. The attached information bulletin provides more detail of the role and information on how to apply.
