From the Classrooms

Priceless Performances

Throughout Term 4, students have worked hard rehearsing a range of plays in Performing Arts classes, getting into character and learning how to use props, costumes and their bodies to enhance their performances. It is always a delight to see students step out of their comfort zone when it comes to performance time, thereby developing confidence and resilience whether or not their performance goes the way they had hoped. Well done also to all the students who cheered on their peers and offered them words of encouragement as they took the stage!

Carols on the Green

We had a wonderful community evening on Wednesday December 7. The 'Carols on the Green' event attracted hundreds of people once again and the students put on a wonderful display of song, dance and instrumental performances to entertain us through the night. Despite the wind and light rain we managed to get through the full program with Bubbles and Tinsel doing a wonderful job. Thank you to all the families for turning out and helping make it a wonderful night for the students involved.

A huge thank you to Renee Knoll for her tireless efforts getting the night planned and students ready for the event. Her commitment to helping the students love the performing arts is clear for all to see.
