Attention all Young Artists - Creative Futures Program

Create Hub are offering an amazing program for any Year 11 or 12 students who are super creative and curious about a future in the creative industries.

 

WHAT IS INVOLVED: This is a practical art making and mentoring program for young people who LOVE the arts and think they may want some future in a Creative Industry. This will be hands on, relaxed, inspiring and you will get messy! It will run for 10 sessions over the first 6 months of 2020.

Australian Navy Cadets

Murrumbidgee Youth Community Grants

Schools, sporting clubs, youth groups, and other organisations involved in supporting young people up to the age of 25 years, can now apply for a Murrumbidgee Youth Community Grant to receive funding for activities aimed at building resilience and positive mental health and wellbeing.

 

The initiative is part of Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network’s (MPHN), Federal Government Empowering Our Communities funding to support mental health and wellbeing in the region’s drought-affected communities.

Wagga City Cats Cricket Club

Wagga City Cats Cricket Club are looking for players to play in the Thunder Girls Cricket League. Players need to be 15 and under. 

The league starts on Monday February 10 until March 16. 

Games commence at 5pm, to be played at Bolton Park Wagga, in T20 format.  Playing gear supplied if required.

Learner Driver Road Safety Forum - 25 February 2020

Transport NSW will be hosting a workshop at the Wagga Wagga City Council on Tuesday the 25 February 2020. The workshop is designed to pass on information to licence holders which will assist in educating learner drivers to become 'Safer Drivers'.

There is no cost associated with attending.

 Indigenous Film Screening: "In My Blood It Runs" will be showing at Forum 6 Cinema Wagga Wagga at 7pm Monday 2 March. "In My Blood It Runs" ignites conversation about the need for an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander education system, juvenile justice reform and addresses racism in Australia.

Anglican Parish of Wagga Wagga - "Endo High Tea" - 7 March 2020

The Anglican Parish of Wagga Wagga invites the school community to an “Endo High Tea” on Saturday 7th March from 2-4 pm in the Parish Meeting Room at St John’s, with guest speaker Ellenor Krebs.
