ELC and Junior School Picnic

Nadine Power, PFA President

It was so wonderful to gather our ELC and Junior School families together last Friday evening on the PVC Lawn at Senior School.

Everyone had a wonderful time catching up with others from their cohort and across the School and enjoyed the complimentary sausage sizzle and icy poles provided by the PFA.

Thank you to all those who helped with a variety of tasks to make the evening such a success. In particular, a special thanks to Chantelle Abela, Toby Allen, Eleni Anastasiadis, Rachael Baker, Serena and George Lane, Megan Moore, Paul Munnerley, Meikhaela Spooner, Ivy Xiao and Maisie Zhang. Your time and efforts are very much appreciated!

Two truths and a lie on PFA President Nadine Power

  • I am allergic to cats – False. Nadine has two cats called Mrs Fox (Scottish Blue) and Sparrow (British Blue).
  • I’m currently studying for my MBA – Truth. Nadine is busy studying for her Master of Business Administration.
  • I got mistaken for Shakira when I travelled to Egypt – Truth. While visiting the pyramids in Cairo wearing Hollywood shades and a pashmina, Nadine was approached by a mob of tourists who were mad for a photo with Shakira. Say cheese!
