MCA Bee Project

UPDATE
The MCA bee project is well on its way to reaching the goal of having a stingless native bee hive for each house, with the first two beehives arriving on the Environment Free Dress Day, this Friday 5 August. Rush and Gilroy are the lucky houses to receive the first beehives. This was decided at the last assembly where the School House Captains competed in a scissors/paper/rock battle for the bees – congratulations!
This Friday’s Environment Free Dress Day will be raising money for more native bee hives.
How can you get involved?
- Load up your student card with a donation
- Wear green or secondhand clothing
- Come to listen to a bee expert’s educational session, and observe him install the hives at first break on Friday (Look out for notices for where to meet)
- If you are interested in getting involved in the MCA bee club, please don’t hesitate to email either Ms Kenny or Ms Badini.
Thank you for all your support!
