News from Careers

Year 10 students are working to prepare for their work experience placements at the end of term 2 from Monday June 24 to Friday June 28.  Many students have organised their placements and are looking forward to the week. It is often a very challenging experience making phone calls approaching workplaces, and then attending work for a whole week.  It is, however, a very valuable experience and I thanks parents, teachers and local businesses and community organisations who support our students to have this opportunity. If you are unsure about any of the details or have questions please do contact me 9765 4100 or email  careers@scoresbysc.vic.edu.au

Lots of things are coming up in the tertiary space with open days commencing soon; the best way to find out about these exciting opportunities is to read the weekly careers newsletters by visiting the Careers website.  http://www.scoresbysccareers.com

These newsletters are a great resource and have information, copies are also on compass and in the senior hub.
