POTS ART SHOW
POTS invites you to join us for the Living Waters Art Show which will be held in the hall on Wednesday 19 October from 3.00-5.30pm. You will have the opportunity to order a keepsake featuring your child's artwork. Nibbles and refreshments will be available.
SWIMMING CARNIVAL
The Living Waters Swimming Carnival will be held next Friday 21 October. Students will travel to the Town Pool by bus, leaving school at 9.30am and returning at 2.30pm.
Students have the option of pre-ordering Subway for lunch. If interested, please return the order form which went home with students this week with correct payment by Wednesday 19th October.
Families are invited to come along and cheer throughout the day – bring your deck chair or picnic rug! Please note that students are required to sit in their house areas during the day. If you wish to take your child home directly from the pool, please ensure you sign them out at the Score Desk.
BUNNINGS BBQ FUNDRAISER
Head down to Bunnings on Saturday 22 October and grab a sausage and drink from the Year 6 students and parents as they fundraise for the Year 6 trip to Canberra. The barbecue will be running from 9.00am to 4.00pm. Gluten free and vegetarian options will be available. See you there!
SCHOOL DISCO
Our School Disco will be held in the school hall on Thursday 27 October. A flyer and order form for pizzas and poppers (Years 2 to 6 only) will be sent home next week. Please ensure you return the order form along with payment by Monday 24 October. If there are any parents who wish to volunteer their time on the day please email siobhan.meagher@ntschools.net.
Times for the Disco are:
Foundation and Year 1: 1:45pm-2:30pm (as part of the F/1 afternoon program)
Year 2 and 3: 3:00pm-4:30pm
Years 4, 5 and 6: 5:00pm-6:30pm
TERM 4 OFFERINGS
Offerings this term will be going to Lutheran Care Alice Springs. Instead of money, we are asking for donations of non-perishable food items. These will be distributed by Lutheran Care to people in need. Non-perishable donations could include tinned vegetables, long-life milk, tea or coffee, pasta and cereal. Thank you for your ongoing support of Lutheran Care.
