Werte

Werte and welcome back to Term 4.

Thank you to those families who let us know their intention to depart next year. We will be sorry to see you go but thank you for helping us to finalise our numbers. Fee statements will come out shortly, and the 8% early payment discount will still apply. If you know of any families who are intending to enrol at Living Waters for 2023 please tell them to do so ASAP as most of our classes are full with only a few vacancies.

Term 4 is looking busy with lots of community events and learning opportunities for our children. Next Friday is our annual swimming carnival for students in Year 4 - 6. I have issued Larapinta the challenge that if they can win the swimming carnival, we will all wear blue for the day. Larapinta have won our athletics carnival, our cross country carnival and last year's events. Let's see if Flynn and Albrecht can break the winning streak!

Coming home today are the Year 3 and 5 NAPLAN results. We are proud of all of our children and take this time to remember that the test is a snapshot in time on one particular day. We believe we know enough about our children that there are no surprises, and teachers have been in contact with families whose children sit outside the benchmarks to discuss the data the school has on hand and the programmes we have been implementing throughout the year to support these students. If you are concerned about any aspect of your child's NAPLAN report please email me and we can set a time to talk.

I'm looking forward to seeing you all at the Art Show coming up. Check your child's pocket for more details.
