Careers & Pathways

VTAC
VTAC stands for “Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre” and it is the central hub for tertiary course applications in Victoria. VTAC represents all Victorian universities, most TAFEs and some independent tertiary colleges.
Most students that wish to continue studies in vocational education or higher education will need to be familiar with the VTAC services. This includes searching for courses, applying for courses and making applications for SEAS (Special Entry Access Scheme) and Scholarships.
Year 12 students were asked to participate in a VTAC workshop on Friday 3 August and were given a detailed overview on the processes that need to be employed within the application process for study in 2019. Applications opened on Monday 6 August at 9am, with timely applications closing on 27 September (5pm). Timely applications cost $36.
Students that are applying for SEAS and Scholarships must submit their application and all supporting evidence by 12 October (5pm). VTAC will not make any special considerations for late applications.
Additional Help
At 7pm on Wednesday 15 August, VTAC will run a free evening webinar for students and parents covering all aspects of the application process. This webinar is hosted by the CEAV. More information and registration is available here.
