Educational Program and Practice

Final word for the year from the educational leader…We did it! We made it through another year as a community and what a year it’s been. We have accomplished so much through settling our younger children into their new environments to graduating our wonderful kindergarten children on their new primary school adventure. We welcomed new Educators to the service to join our team and watch out existing team grow in their positions here at Haven! I am so proud of all the wonderful achievements this year has brought our service and know we will only continue to flourish in 2023 as an Exceeding service. 

I hope to make myself and my position here as Educational Leader more known and communicate our incredible programs in which your children are a major part of. 

Assessment and Rating 

We achieved such a big milestone with Haven being assessed this year and I am so proud to say that we now known as a service that exceeds expectations! We could not have achieved this result without our families input into the program and access to the local community  into our programs such as parent helpers on excursions, our cooking programs with families, our pram program, library visits, park plays and various incursions. 

Gayle's community share space 

Wow! We were able to contribute to Gayle and her community share space such a significant amount through all your donations and generosity! Gayle was extremely grateful and as a community she and her team were able to contribute many hampers for people who not have been able to celebrate Christmas this year without this amazing space.

2023

In 2023 I will be sharing a lot more about my position and what I am here for as Educational Leader for Haven. I will be communicating to you all about programming updates, our projects, goals and much more through a newsletter, so watch this space! I’m excited to get to know you all more as you continue you and your children continue a wonderful learning journey here with us at Haven. 

For those continuing on with us, I am excited to watch your children’s learning journey here with us grow and create memories we will cherish forever. For those moving on, I wish you all the best of luck for the new year ahead!
