NORTHERN PENINSULA DIVISION SWIMMING SPORTS – WEDNESDAY 25th MARCH

On Wednesday, 15 students from Years 4 – 6 competed for the school in the Divisional Swimming Carnival. The school had some amazing team and individual results. All students and their parents should be extremely proud of their achievements.

As a result of winning their races, Tate and Grayden have qualified for the Southern Metropolitan Regional finals, to be held at YAWA on Wednesday 1st April . We wish them all the best.

  • all parents who transported their children to and from the venue and supported all our students during the competition. You were a fantastic Cheer Squad.
  • Layne Q, who recorded results and made sure students marshalled at the correct time.

 

HOUSE CROSS COUNTRY – MONDAY 30TH MARCH (School)

A reminder that the House Cross Country Carnival will be held this Monday, 30th March. It has been wonderful to see so many children take up the opportunity to train on a Thursday morning.

Just a few reminders:

  • Students who wish to be considered for the school team MUST run in their age group race.
  • Students are encouraged to wear a House Coloured T-shirt on the day.
  • Asthmatics should make sure they take their ‘puffer’ 15 minutes prior to their event.
  • Spare socks, shoes and clothing should be brought in case of wet weather.
  • Only parents wearing a lanyard will be allowed on the course.
  • It is never too late to join running club. Students must return the consent form prior to their participation.
