Principals’ Day 2026
Friday 7th August
Tomorrow Friday 7th August, we celebrate Principals' Day a special opportunity to celebrate and acknowledge the outstanding contribution principals and assistant principals make to public education.
School leaders play a vital role in shaping positive learning environments where students, staff, and families can thrive. Their work extends far beyond the classroom, encompassing educational leadership, student wellbeing, community engagement, staff support, and the ongoing improvement of schools.
Today we recognise the dedication, resilience, compassion, and leadership demonstrated by our principal class team Jo Jolly and Michelle Smith.
Jo and Michelle work tirelessly behind the scenes every day to ensure Parkhill Primary School is a place where every student is known, supported and inspired to achieve their best. Their dedication, care and commitment to our school community create an environment where students flourish, staff feel valued, and families feel connected.
Their leadership, vision and unwavering support help shape the positive culture that makes Parkhill such a special place to learn and work. Whether it's celebrating successes, guiding us through challenges or always putting our students first, Jo and Michelle lead with compassion, integrity and purpose.
On behalf of the entire Parkhill Primary School community, thank you, Jo and Michelle, for everything you do. Your passion, dedication and genuine care make a lasting difference every single day.
To help celebrate Principals' Day, we have attached three Principals' Day colouring sheets. We would love for any students who would like to participate to colour one in and present it to Jo or Michelle as a special way of saying "thank you". We know they would absolutely love receiving these thoughtful creations!
Happy Principals' Day! 💙💛
