Immunisations
This is a reminder to parents and carers of Year 10 students that consent is required for their child to receive the scheduled school vaccinations.
Consent must be completed online through the Vitavo portal using the link or QR code emailed to parents from Horsham Rural City Council. Parents are asked to submit their child’s consent as soon as possible, including where they do not consent to vaccination, so that records are completed before the vaccination sessions.
The session for Year 10 is being held on Tuesday 18th August 2026.
The QR code and link to provide consent can be found below:

Year 10 Gold Coast trip
Day 1
Day 1 saw us leave home at 4am to make our flight to the Gold Coast. All students were on time and saw us leave ahead of schedule. When we landed we got changed and went straight to the Gold Coast water park for the kids to enjoy. 20 degrees with the shining sun and the kids had the time of their lives. We checked into our accommodation at NRMA treasure island and settled in for the night.
Day 2
Day 2 started off with a big cooked brekky before heading to Movieworld for a day rubbing shoulders with the likes of Bugs Bunny, Scooby Doo, Batman and a cameo from Shane Crawford. The students rode rides all day, bought endless merchandise and took every opportunity they were given.
Day 3
Day 3 saw us venture to Seaworld to watch live shows of seals, dolphins and enjoy more rollercoasters. As part of the day, students learnt about the damage that is done to waterways each day with rubbish as well as the effect that humans have on the environment. Students also got up close and personal with stingrays, having the chance to pet them and feel how slimy they were. The polar bears and the penguins were also a hit. The dolphin show is always a spectacle as they flip through the air as well as push and tow trainers around the arena.
Another big day in the books finished off with some shopping at Harbour town before retiring for dinner and a rest before another big day. Next stop, Dreamworld.
Day 4
Day 4 started very sunny and warm as we headed off to Dream World. The rollercoasters were a hit as well as the Giant Drop which is the tallest and fastest thrill ride in the Southern Hemisphere with speeds of up to 135 km/h and a free fall of 39 storeys. Other attractions were the tiger show and other animal attractions. After Dream World there was some more time for shopping at Harbour Town before heading back to the resort for some Trivia!
Day 5
Our last day on camp and what a sunrise we were greeted by. The morning was filled with packing up and cleaning the cabins before heading off to the airport. Before boarding our plane the group was lucky enough to get a photo with Damian Hardwick and a few other Gold Coast Suns players. Despite a delay at the airport we all made it safely back to Horsham where the kids were very tired after a massive fun filled week of activities.
Well done to all the students and everyone involved in the trip it was a ripper!
Year 10 Snow Trip
Last week 54 of our Yr 10 students attended the snow trip to Mt Buller. The week was a fantastic experience.for all students who attended, many of whom were skiing or snow boarding for the first time.
Each day involved the group travelling from their accommodation at the Arlzberg Resort in Mansfield to Mt Buller. Students completed 1 lesson a day where they were taught the basics of either skiing and snowboarding and then progressing on with their skills each lesson.
Following on from lessons, students were able to explore different ‘Runs’ across the mountain to hone their skills. Students showed great determination, patience, endurance and resilience throughout the days in learning the new skills and were able to shake off, sore muscles and tailbones to advance their skills. By the Thursday students were comfortably executing turns and control down the slopes.
A big thank you to Mr Berger, Ms Tate, Mr Hose, Mrs Hopper, Mr Bruce, Ms Healey, Lucas and Rian who attended the camp with the students for the week and also to Ms McQueen for all her hard work and preparation in organising the camp.
