Chinese students and Yr 7 Merit awards 

A special congratulations also to our Year 7 students who have received Merit Awards. These awards recognise consistent effort, excellent behaviour, and a commitment to learning. We are very proud of their achievements and encourage them to continue striving for success.

 100 Days of Kindergarten! 

What an unforgettable day celebrating 100 Days of Kindy! We kicked off the festivities with a fun-filled parade, proudly showing off our "100-year-old" costumes. Even though we were a little older for the day, that didn't stop us from dancing the morning away—walking frames and all! 🕺💃

After recess, it was time to put our chef hats on for a Fairy Bread challenge! The catch? Some of the instructions had mysteriously disappeared, leading to plenty of giggles and a few hilarious fairy bread mishaps along the way. 🤭🌈🍞

With lots of teamwork, problem-solving and our thinking caps firmly in place, we worked out the missing steps and created the perfect fairy bread. The room was filled with big smiles, laughter and a wonderful sense of achievement.

It was a fantastic day full of fun, creativity and memories we'll treasure as we celebrated being 100 days smarter! 💯❤️

Congratulations to our secondary students who received merits at this week's assembly; it's pleasing to see the growing number of students who apply themselves to all aspects of College life. 

Reunion Night Gallery

MCHF Alumni Reunion Night

On Friday 31 July, the College's Alumni Association welcomed approximately 150 former students and staff to its inaugural Reunion Night, celebrating the enduring connections that unite our community.

Principal Sr Margaret Ghosn warmly welcomed guests and reflected on the rich history of the College, sharing fond memories and recognising the contributions of generations of students and staff. Deputy Principal Elie Asmar spoke about the re-establishment of the Alumni Association, outlining future initiatives and highlighting the important role alumni can play in supporting the College's continued growth and success.

Guests were also given an opportunity to view the College's Master Plan, offering an exciting glimpse into MCHF's future and the opportunities for alumni to be part of that journey.

The evening featured entertainment, dancing and plenty of opportunities to reconnect, making it a memorable celebration of community, heritage and the lifelong bond shared by all who have been part of MCHF.

Chinese students with our Secondary Students

This term, our school had the exciting opportunity to welcome a group of students from China. Their visit gave us a chance to learn more about Chinese culture, traditions, and everyday life. Throughout their time at our school, the students joined classes, participated in activities, and spent time getting to know our students. It was great to share our experiences while also discovering the similarities and differences between our schools.
