As part of their Vinnies Service Medallion journey, our Year 8 students recently participated in a meaningful service activity, packing hampers for individuals and families experiencing hardship within our community. Through this hands-on experience, students were given the opportunity to put their faith into action by serving others with compassion, generosity and dignity.

The activity encouraged students to reflect on the challenges faced by vulnerable members of society and reinforced the importance of social justice, empathy and community responsibility. Working together to organise and pack essential items, students demonstrated outstanding teamwork and a genuine commitment to helping those in need.

We commend our Year 8 students for embracing this opportunity to live out our Maronite values and thank St Vincent de Paul Society for supporting our students in their service learning journey. Through acts of kindness such as these, our students are developing a deeper understanding of the positive difference they can make in the lives of others.

As part of the Pastoral and Spiritual growth of the students, Year 11 had their Reflection Day hosted at the OLOL Youth Centre. The day involved Reconciliation, participation in Mass as well as group activities about leadership and unity, deep reflection as well as an incredibly valuable talk about  Blessed Patriarch Elias Howayek delivered by Sr Margaret.  The Year 11s gained a lot from the day as they begin the preparations for their end-of-course exams in a few weeks

Happy Foundation Day

Our school came together to celebrate Foundation Day, marking the anniversary of when our school was founded. It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on our school’s history, celebrate our community and look forward to the future. The day commenced with Mass, bringing the College community together in prayer and reflection on the service of the Maronite Sisters of the Holy Family. A special morning tea was held afterwards to mark the special occasion.
