SUSTAINABLE UPDATES

After several years of getting dirt under the nails, the RPS Sustainability Committee is farewelling several parent volunteers who have made a really meaningful contribution to sustainability around the school, and in particular to the various garden areas that are now established.

A really huge thank you goes out to Marnie, Ash, Lenka, Nicole and Julie for all your efforts, and in particular Nicole and Julie for coordinating Gardens sub-team and overall Committee respectively.

As we dry our tears, we take hope from the prospect of new parents coming to get their hands dirty and join the committee!  In particular, we're seeking some green thumb parents to help us with seasonal planting at the next RPS working bee, as well as for some of the routine garden care & harvest sessions that we run with the kids through term 2.  If you or your child has a passion for gardening this is a great way to see it grow ;)...

To join the committee, contact Nick Smith (nickosmitho@gmail.com) or just come jump in a garden bed at the working bee.
