Ela Uzun of 8 Yellow

Ela Uzun (8 Yellow) has had an exceptional athletics season in 2024/25 capping off a victory and retaining her U15 Australian Junior Athletics title with a new personal best, Australian and Championship record of 13.21 minutes in the 3000m Race Walk. The event took place in Perth where she won her 3rd consecutive Australian Junior title. Ela recently competed at the 2025 SACCSS Cross Country championships where she claimed gold in the event making her back-to-back champion in the 3km distance. 

Ela looks to compete in the upcoming Australian Cross Country and Road walking championships in late July and furthermore our SACCSS Athletics championships in late September.
