Another Storm... Another Fight

Another storm hits the treehouse. While gathering flotsam and jetsam (pirate speak for junk), they find 12 dead pirates. Until Terry pokes one — and it wakes up.

The waterlogged pirate starts telling a story: he was a ruthless pirate captain, conquered the seas, made people walk the plank… until Gorgonzola bit his head off. He carved a wooden one, but it got eaten by sharks. Gorgonzola swallowed his body. Inside, he found his old head and blew up the fish with dynamite.

The captain survived in a pedal submarine, found a new ship and crew.

Andy, Terry, and Jill realize it’s Captain Woodenhead.

He finds out they used his ship to build the treehouse. Terry inflates his underpants to escape the pirate hug — but they fly into the branches of the treehouse. The pirates chase them, threatening to blow the treehouse up.

Andy and Terry eventually surrender. Woodenhead makes them slaves — but 9 out of 10 pirates die in unlucky accidents:

One falls off a vine
One gets electrocuted
One is sucked into the tattoo machine
One gets hardened in mud...

The last pirate left is Woodenhead, armed with a cutlass and a gun. He chases them into the Maze of Doom — a maze so tricky, no one’s ever escaped.

In the maze, they find the corpse of Bill the postman (later revealed to be a member of the Birthday Card Bandits). Thanks to Silky and co., they escape — but so does Woodenhead.

He chases them to the observation deck — below is the shark tank. Gorgonzola’s head falls on Woodenhead, he stumbles, and the sharks eat him.

The Ending

They relax in the anti-gravity chamber. Mr Big Nose calls, asking where the book is. Andy says it’s done. Mr Big Nose asks why it’s not on his desk.

So Andy, Terry, and Jill read the book they wrote — but don’t know how to deliver it in time.

Terry gets an idea — use Captain Woodenhead’s cannon. Andy loads the book. Terry lights the fuse. The book flies through the city — and lands perfectly on Mr Big Nose’s desk. He publishes it.

Jill says it looks fun and wants to try. Terry agrees. Jill gets in the cannon. Terry lights the fuse. Jill daredevil-dives back into her cottage.

Andy says, “That’s the end of that.” They then make plans to add another 13 levels to the treehouse.
