MEDICATION

The information below is from the Department of Education policy advisory line.

Schools must ensure all medication to be administered is:

  • accompanied by written advice providing directions for appropriate storage and administration
  • in the original container with the original label including the name of the student, information on the dosage and time to be administered
  • within its expiry date
  • stored according to the product instructions, particularly in relation to temperature.

Schools should encourage parents or carers to consider whether they can administer medication outside the school day, such as before and after school and before bed.

Over-the-counter medications (including paracetamol) require a medication authority form.

Congratulations 2026 Graduates

We are incredibly proud to celebrate our Year 12 students graduating. This is such a significant achievement for Naranga students, and it’s a moment that truly deserves recognition.

Over the years, we have had the privilege of watching these young people grow, challenge themselves, and step out of their comfort zones. We have seen them achieve so much both academically and personally and it has been inspiring to witness their determination, resilience, and courage.

We have thoroughly enjoyed learning alongside them, sharing in their successes, and celebrating each milestone along the way. This group of students is truly exceptional, and we have no doubt they will continue to dream big, aim high, and achieve amazing things.

To our Year 12 graduates,  we wish you all the very best for the future. Keep shining, keep striving, and always remember how far you’ve come!

Pathways Camp

Last week, the Pathways students went on an amazing school camp to Phillip Island. It was such an exciting experience filled with fun activities and new adventures.

On the first day, we visited Amaze‘n’Things, where we explored mind-bending puzzles, optical illusions, and the thrilling maze. Everyone had a great time challenging themselves and trying to find their way around the maze.

Tuesday was a big day.  We went on a boat cruise around Cape Woolamai and saw a seal on the pier. After that, we watched the pelican feeding, which was fascinating to see.  We enjoyed some shopping in Cowes, and played bowling and laser tag.

On our way home we visited Maru Wildlife Park. We saw kangaroos, koalas, and other Australian animals up close. Feeding the animals and learning about their habitats was a highlight for many of us.

Overall, camp was an unforgettable experience. We learned new things, spent time with friends, and created memories that will last forever.
