Principal's Report

Welcome!

Schools are very busy places and this year is panning out to be no different for us at Uralla Central School. It has been a pleasure to welcome so many new students and their families to our school over the last couple of weeks.  I trust you have all settled in well and are enjoying our programs and opportunities for your students.

Urgent -Downloading New Apps for School Communication - Please Download NOW

Last week, all families were provided information about new apps/platforms we will be using for school communications from next week. The School Stream app will be phased out to make way for two more effective and powerful apps to assist families in knowing about events, their children’s learning and providing permission for excursions and paying for events.  Parents/Carers will need to download two apps, Sentral and School Bytes.

Uralla Show Success

Our students continued to shine at the Uralla Show this year with so many achievements in nearly every category in the pavilion. It was so nice to walk into the area and see our students work awarded at such a high level.  Congratulations to all students who achieved awards but also to every student who went to the effort of submitting an item for display. Our achievements are so great that we cannot list them all here, but please see a small selection of our works below:

Our New Wood/Metal Tech Room

We started using our new wood/metal tech room this week after many months of work to install the new resource.  This building is in addition to our older woodwork room so we now have 2 rooms for our students.  Thank you to the NSW Department of Education for providing us this incredible resource!
