Confirmation

On Sunday, August 31st, a number of our students will receive the sacrament of Confirmation. This is a significant moment in their faith journey, as they will be sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit, strengthening them to be witnesses of Christ in the world.

These students have been preparing for this day, by deepening their understanding of our faith, and learning more about the role of the Holy Spirit in their lives.

Please pray for our candidates; Kanishan, Wiktoria, Natasha,

Ella M, Dihain, Grace, Harry, Ella P, Sofia, Lea, Gwen, Reshan, Giselle, Dominic and Annastashia as they celebrate this special sacrament.

Pray that their hearts and minds are open to receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit—wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety, and fear of the Lord. Pray that they will feel the love and support of our entire community and that they will be filled with a renewed passion for their faith.

Social Justice at Myuna Farm

Today a group of Year 1, 2, 3 and 4 students visited Myuna Farm as part of their outreach work withing the local community. The students were grateful for the opportunity to get their hands dirty and serve our community in a practical  way.

In the beautiful sunshine, the students worked side-by-side on various tasks, such as weeding and preparing the soil. They then planted and watered some seedlings that will one day provide food for the baby farm animals. The students also enjoyed adding to and aerating the compost to be used as food for the garden.
