Hello Community,

Can you believe we are more than halfway through the term! There are a few events still to come.

Mornington Beach Day for students in Years 3-6 will be an exciting and enjoyable way to celebrate the end of the year.

The weather was fabulous last Thursday and from all reports, a great day was had by both our footballers and netballers. Congratulations to our girls AFL team - Saskia, Sienna, Jolie H, Ella B, Ella B, Jade S, Summer B, Zoe H, Luka W, Tahlia M and Annabelle G - who placed in THIRD position overall.

A huge congratulations to our boys netball teams.

Team A - Johari, Diesel, Casey, Harry, Toby, Jett D, Archie and Archer.

Team B - Ashton, Henry C, Sam, Aaron, Henry, Zane and Duke.

Both teams came in FIRST position in their competitions. Outstanding!

Thank you to Holly Waldock and Sarah Bagshaw for coaching our footy team and a special mention to Margaret Van Der Peet and Sharon Christenson, who not only coached but also refereed many of the games. Thank you!

Junior Parish Sports

What a fantastic day we had! Luckily, the rain held off, and our Foundation, Grade One and Two students enjoyed a fun and energetic morning of tabloid sports at St. Joseph’s Primary School. Students took part in a range of activities including basketball dribbling, footy kicking, skipping, parachute games and more.

A big thank you to all the parents who came along to cheer on their children, and to St. Joseph’s Primary School for organising and hosting the event this year. Well done to everyone involved!

Boys Netball

On Thursday the 6th of November, my team and I went to the District Netball competition at Jubilee Park. The day was set up like a mini round robin, with lots of different schools competing against each other.

Everyone on my team played amazingly. We worked together, communicated, and encouraged each other throughout every game. The matches were intense at times, but we stayed focused and gave it our all. By the end of the day, all our training had paid off. We finished undefeated and ended up winning overall! It was such a fun and rewarding day.  - A Team
