HEALTH & PE WEEK

The last week of term was Health and PE week. All students, teachers and parents did a great job of running laps of the oval. Although the Grade 6's weren't there because of camp they still did a great job. This year we invited the parents to be involved in the students and teachers' activities. For the first time the new preps ran. They did an amazing job. It was awesome to see so many people running laps; it was an outstanding effort from all the grades including teachers and parents.

In last place with 141 laps were the parents with a marvelous performance.

7th place were the grade 6's and teachers with 327 laps.

6th place with 341 laps were the foundation students.

5th place with 426 were the grade 3s.

4th place with 456 laps were the grade 1's.

3rd place with 611 laps were the grade 2's.

2nd place with 748 were the grade 4's.

And 1st place with a huge number of laps were the grade 5's with 855 laps.

HOLY ROSARY SCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY 2025

Our school cross country will be on Friday the 2nd of May. Foundation to Grade 2 will race at Holy Rosary. Grades 3 to 6 will compete in their cross-country event at the Botanical Gardens, along the creek trail. Students in Grades 3 to 6 will walk down with their classroom teachers at approximately 12pm. A PAM note has been sent home last term with further information.

If your child is concerned about the run, perhaps you could take them for a few runs in the weeks leading up to the event and help boost their confidence and capacity to complete the event. They have been given opportunities to practice their running as part of the PE program at school, however as we know, the more exposure we have to something we find challenging, the more comfortable we are with it. Your support in giving your child the best chance to be successful on the day would be greatly appreciated.
