New Junior Playground
Those passing through the school grounds on Monday and Tuesday will have noted the construction works happening at the front of the school. This is the new Junior Playground, going in where the old electrical box used to be. You will note all the activity platforms are low (under 60cm off the ground) which allows us to maximise the smaller space.
This playground has been made possible through the hard work of the JPPC (Parents Committee) over the past few years, particularly the Color Run fundraising, raising the money to buy this new resourse for the students. THANKS JPPC.
Disco
Thanks again to the JPPC for running a very successful School Disco last Friday. There was a huge number of students in attendance and they all had a great time. We greatly appreciate the efforts of all the parents that assisted on the night to provide this event for the kids.
Reminder - Take-Away Food deliveries
We kindly remind parents that we do not accept Take-Away food deliveries to school from parents or through services such as Uber Eats or other delivery platforms.
Any Take-Away food deliveries can cause disruptions to school operations, create supervision and safety concerns, and may result in students missing class time to collect orders.
If your child requires lunch or has forgotten their food, please contact the school office to discuss appropriate arrangements. We can provide access to an 'emergency' lunch (sandwich and fruit) through the school canteen.
Thank you for your support and cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and focused learning environment.
School Review
As part of our School Review (held every 4 years) we will need a Parent Focus Group to speak to the Reviewer and Challenge Partners on Thursday 23 July, at 8.30-9.00am. This session aims to get a parent perspective on all aspects of the school. We welcome your contribution and encourage parents to attend.
School staff will be available to supervise your children if you can come in early and we will issue a formal notification and reminder in early Term 3.
Staffing update
Our Performing Arts teacher Elise Pratt will be on leave for Term 3. We are currently in the process of finding a replacement teacher.

NCCD
The Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability (NCCD) is an annual process that helps schools identify the educational adjustments being provided to support students with disability. Through the NCCD process, JPPS collaborates with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure that every student can access and participate in the teaching and learning programs. The information collected assists schools, education authorities, and governments to better understand student needs and to plan resourcing and support. Importantly, all data is de-identified and handled confidentially. If you would like more information about the NCCD please refer to this link whiohc is available in a variety of language Fact sheet for parents, guardians and carers - Nationally Consistent Collection of Data
