Matariki at WHS:

The senior teachers in Kākāpō Syndicate were up early at 6:30 am last Friday morning, ready to cook up a hākari/feast to acknowledge and celebrate Matariki. On the menu were bacon, sausages, eggs, pancakes with maple syrup and whipped cream, ambrosia and juice. 

Mr McGreal gave a kōrero/talk and karakia, and everyone enjoyed the morning eating and hanging out together, looking forward to the Matariki New Year.
