Keep an eye out for fake CAPTCHA pages

CAPTCHAs are used to prove you’re ‘not a robot’ by clicking on specific images that include things like cars or traffic lights.

Cybercriminals continue using fake CAPTCHAs to steal data and compromise devices in Australia. Some trick users into copying and pasting malicious code to install malware.

Copying and pasting text or code is not a normal CAPTCHA process. If you see a prompt to do this, treat it as malicious and notify ICT Services.

AI Use Frameworks

Please remember to reference the ACS AI use frameworks when exploring new uses for AI in your work.

There are 3 frameworks: teaching use, administrative use and student use.

Phishing Email Reporting

Please remember to report any suspicious phishing emails via the hook icon on the bottom or right hand side of your Gmail. Reporting phishing emails is important for our cyber security.
