MRPS Writers Festival – Awards Assembly & Student Writing Display

We are excited to celebrate the wonderful writing, creativity and perseverance of our students at our MRPS Writers Festival Awards Assembly!

Friday 16th October

2:30pm

Kim Barne Nitji (Gymnasium)

Families are warmly invited to join us for our Writers Festival Awards Assembly, where we will celebrate and recognise the fantastic achievements of our student authors.

Celebrating the Writing Process

Throughout Term 3, our authors have worked incredibly hard to bring their ideas to life! Students have taken their writing through the full writing process, including planning, drafting, revising, editing and finally publishing their finished pieces.

This process has required creativity, persistence, careful thinking and a willingness to make changes and improve their writing along the way. The final published pieces are a wonderful reflection of the effort, learning and growth our students have demonstrated throughout the Writers Festival.

A huge congratulations to all of our young authors on their incredible achievement!

Following the assembly, we welcome families to take some time to view your child’s amazing Writers Festival piece and explore the wonderful writing created by students across the school.

Can’t make it on Friday? No problem! Our Writers Festival display will remain up until Monday 19th October, giving families another opportunity to come in and admire the incredible work our students have created.

We look forward to celebrating our young authors and their wonderful imaginations with you!
