Lord,
We thank you for the gift of our St Joseph's School community, a place where faith grows and hearts are formed. As we celebrate Catholic Schools Week, we look ahead with joy to the Hope-Filled Future you have planned for us.
Bless our students with curiosity and wisdom, our teachers with passion and patience, and our families with strength and love. Help us to walk in the light of Christ every day, trusting that with You, the future is always bright and full of promise.
Amen

We celebrate Catholic School's Week this week! This year’s theme, ‘Our Hope Filled Future’, invites us to look forward with optimism and faith, acknowledging the incredible potential within every student in our care.
This theme resonates deeply as we nurture the next generation of leaders, trades, and innovators. Throughout the week, we will be hosting various activities to showcase the learning, spirit, and heart that make our school so special. It is a time to celebrate our shared mission: to provide an education that empowers our children to step into the world with confidence, compassion, and a steadfast sense of hope.
What's happening this week...

Your family will receive a packet of seeds to celebrate our Catholic Schools Week theme. "To have a green thumb is to have hope for tomorrow". This week, as we celebrate CSW, we invite your family to plant these seeds as a symbol of our shared journey. Just as these seeds need water and light, our student's future is nutured by faith, education and the love of our St Joseph's School community.

Parents of students making their Sacrament of Penance (Reconciliation) are invited to the Parent Information evening.

In the spirit of St Mary MacKillop’s reminder to "never see a need without doing something about it," we are launching our St Vincent de Paul Winter Appeal. As we rug up against the cold, let us keep those experiencing hardship in our thoughts and prayers. We are collecting non-perishable canned food to support local families. We ask that each family sends one can to school with their child to place in their classroom basket. Your small act of charity will bring immense comfort to someone in need this winter.

To continue our support for the St Vincent de Paul Winter Appeal we invite our St Joseph's School community to wear their PJs to school and donate a gold coin.
