Principals' Message

Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome to Week 6 and this edition of the newsletter. As we move through the middle of the term, it has been wonderful to see our students continuing to demonstrate enthusiasm, resilience and a strong commitment to their learning. Our classrooms and the playground have been filled with energy, creativity and collaboration. We look forward to the exciting opportunities this week and the many events still to come this term.

Catholic Schools Week - 2026

This week we celebrate Catholic Schools Week which is an opportunity to reflect on and celebrate the important role Catholic schools play in nurturing and supporting every young person in our care. This year’s theme, Our Hope Filled Future, highlights our shared mission of providing a faith-filled and hope-filled future for all students.

Here at St Joseph’s, we are proud of the many ways our students are supported to grow and thrive through the dedication, care and commitment of our wonderful staff. We thank our teachers and staff for the positive difference they make each day in the lives of our students and families, helping to create a strong and supportive learning community grounded in faith, hope and compassion.

Council of Catholic School Parents NSW

The Council of Catholic School Parents NSW (CCSP) provides leadership, advocacy and support for parents and carers of children and young people in Catholic diocesan and congregational schools across New South Wales. The CCSP shares up-to-date information about Catholic education, along with valuable events and resources to support families and schools.

CCSP recognises parents as vital partners in education and promotes the important role families play in their child’s learning journey. Research consistently shows that students achieve more when parents are actively involved in their education, and all families can support learning in meaningful ways. The organisation also works to strengthen the connections between family, school, Church and the wider community.

Learning is a partnership with parents, carers and others in the community, all of whom have a role to play in nurturing the love of learning needed for success at school and in life.

We encourage all families to explore the CCSP website and take advantage of the excellent resources available.
