Premier's Reading Challenge

Premier's Reading Challenge 2026
The Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge is now open and Ormond Primary School is excited to be taking part! The 2026 registrations are open.
The Challenge is open to all Victorian children from birth to Year 10 and aims to help young readers develop a lifelong love of reading. It is not a competition; it is a personal challenge for children to read a set number of books by 4 September 2026.
Children from Prep to Year 2 are encouraged to read or ‘experience’ 30 books with their parents and teachers. Children from Year 3 to Year 10 are challenged to read 15 books. All children who meet the Challenge will receive a certificate of achievement signed by the Victorian Premier and former Premiers.

All students will be provided with a login and password. These will be given to class teachers. We would like as many children as possible to participate in the Challenge.
This is the website to login: Victorian Premiers' Reading Challenge (eduweb.vic.gov.au)
Once your child has their login details, you or your child will need to click on VPRC login and then add the username and password.
Happy Reading
