Literacy and Numeracy Week

Pakenham Secondary College celebrated Literacy and Numeracy Week from 31st August to 4th September, with a fantastic program of activities for all students organised by Mrs Peterson and Ms Nadal.

The activities including Guess Who?, Dramatic Readings in the Library, a Book Costume Parade, Bingo Clues, Trivia, Marshmallow Geometry, Scattergories and a special Literacy and Numeracy Games Day for our Year 7 and 8 Enhancement Classes.

Students also had the exciting opportunity to meet author and illustrator Ben Wood, who visited the College to conduct a special workshop and share his experience and insights with students.

The week provided a wonderful opportunity for students to celebrate the importance of literacy and numeracy in an enjoyable and collaborative way.

Thank you to Mrs Peterson, Ms Nadal and everyone who helped make Literacy and Numeracy Week such a memorable week.
