Celebration Spot

Each week we love to celebrate any students who may have achieved something significant during the past week; sporting events, dancing, baptisms, theatre, music achievements, new babies etc. both inside school and outside school.

Please email admin@dcs.tas.edu.au with the details (we would love a photo too!) so we can celebrate together as a community.

Devonport Eisteddfod

Charlotte (Year 3) recently competed in the Devonport Eisteddfod music sections in voice and piano. She received the following placings:

1st - Own Selection Vocal Solo

2nd - Classical/Traditional/Folk Vocal Solo

3rd - Musical Theatre Vocal Solo

She was also selected to perform in the Showcase of Talent Concert on the final night of the Eisteddfod. Well done Charlotte!

Tasmania Junior Brass Championship

Congratulations to Felix (Year 8), who won the Tasmania Junior Brass Championship on 13th of September! Well done Felix!
