Breakfast Club on Pause
We wish to advise that Breakfast Club will be on pause on Friday 25th September.
At DCS, we love to offer some nutritious breakfast to our students on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday. This is in partnership with Devonport Chaplaincy and Loaves and Fishes. All students are welcome to come to the Jiloa Centre from 8.10am on our scheduled days to grab some nutritious breakfast to energise them for the rest of the day.
We can’t wait to see all our students back for Breakfast Club on Monday 28th September.
Are You Crafty And Like To Sew?
DCS Community is looking for enthusiastic sewers to help with a special Christmas project!
After the wonderful success of last year’s Christmas Parade, we are excited to bring it back again this year. To help bring the Nativity story to life, we would love to start building our own collection of handmade costumes that can be used for future community events and celebrations.
We are looking for volunteers who would be willing to help create a range of simple Nativity costumes. Whether you are an experienced sewer or simply enjoy working with fabric, we would love to hear from you. Some of the costumes may include basic shepherds' robes, wise men’s costumes, and other Nativity-themed outfits.
This is a wonderful opportunity to use your talents to help create something special for our community and support a much-loved Christmas tradition.

Jiloa Juniors & Little Sprouts Term Break
We would like to kindly remind families of the remaining playgroup dates for Term 3.
Please note that Jiloa Juniors and Little Sprouts will be on a term break from 1st October to 20th October.
• Last Jiloa Juniors session: Friday 25th September
• Last Little Sprouts session: Thursday 1st October
• Little Sprouts returns: Thursday 22nd October
• Jiloa Juniors returns: Friday 23rd October
We hope all of our families enjoy a restful and refreshing break. We look forward to welcoming everyone back for our final term of the year!
DCS Community Lunch Orders – Subway New Dates!
DCS Community offers all students the opportunity to order Subway lunches through the Canteen Hub app. Orders are placed via Canteen Hub and delivered directly to the school.
Subway is now available every Wednesday and Friday during school terms.
Order Cut-Off Time: Subway orders close at 9:30pm every Tuesday and Thursday.

Community Pantry Is Now Open!
At Devonport Christian School, we believe that community means caring for one another in practical ways.
The DCS Community Pantry has been established to support families by providing free food and pantry essentials to those who may need some additional help. We hope this space reflects God's love through kindness, generosity, and compassion.
The pantry is available to all DCS families and is located in the JILOA Kitchen. It is open on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 2:30 pm to 3:00 pm.
If you would like to donate items or learn more about the Community Pantry, please speak with our Community Team at the Front Office.
