From the Principal Leader

Dear staff, students, parents, carers and friends of Chisholm,
As we begin a new school year at Caroline Chisholm College, I warmly welcome all members of our community — especially our new Year 7 students and families — to what promises to be a year filled with opportunity, growth and connection. Thank you especially to those families who joined us at our Meet and Greet evening this week. It was great meeting you all and sharing a sausage sizzle together. We look forward to seeing you at many other community events.
The start of the school year is always filled with excitement and anticipation. It is a time to set new goals, strengthen friendships, and recommit ourselves to the values that define our College community. At Caroline Chisholm College, we are proud of our strong tradition of academic excellence, faith formation, student wellbeing and community spirit. These foundations continue to guide everything we do. In 2026 our theme is ‘Even Better Together in 2026’ and I am confident that with our strong start we will certainly achieve our collective goals.
Our theme for this year invites us to reflect on the example of Caroline Chisholm, whose courage, compassion and determination continue to inspire our mission. As a Catholic learning community, we encourage our students to strive for excellence, to act with integrity, and to serve others with generosity. Each young woman in our care is called to use her gifts to make a positive difference in the world.
I extend my sincere thanks to our dedicated staff who have worked diligently to prepare engaging learning experiences and supportive programs to ensure every student feels known, valued and challenged. I also thank our parents and carers for the trust you place in us and for the partnership we share in educating your daughters.
This year will offer many opportunities — in the classroom, through co-curricular activities, in leadership, sport, creative arts and community outreach activities. I encourage every student to become involved, try something new, and embrace the full life of the College.
May 2026 be a year of growth, resilience and joy for every member of our community. I look forward to working alongside you and celebrating the many achievements that lie ahead.
May God bless you and keep you safe in his care
Mrs Tania Cairns
