Jubilee of Families, Children, Grandparents & the Elderly - 30th May - 1st June 2025
Throughout this Year of Jubilee, there is a different focus group each week which is celebrated by pilgrims visiting Rome. This week we celebrate the Jubilee of Families. Children, Grandparents and the Elderly. Thank you to the Koumoukelis family who beautifully led us in prayer at Monday morning Assembly. Came across the article 7 Habits of Happy Families, which is a great short read. Make sure you make some time to invest in your families this week.

Why it's great to be Catholic - Wednesday 4th June 2025
I realise this event is a little out of the 'Eastern suburbs' however, Sydney Catholic Schools are hosting 'Why it's great to be Catholic' at the Canterbury Leagues Club this Wednesday 4th June 2025. The line up of Guest Speakers looks fantastic.
Bishop Tony Percy: The NEW Bishop Tony Percy, will share a message of hope and insight about our new Holy Father, Pope Leo XIV. With his engaging style and deep wisdom, Bishop Tony is sure to both inspire and challenge us in our journey of faith
Josie Charbel: With over 20 years of frontline experience, Josie, State Manager for Vinnies Van Services, brings powerful insight into what it truly means to put faith into action. She will talk about why serving those in need is not just one of the most authentic ways to live out our faith, but a responsibility we all share. Her heartfelt stories from the streets will inspire, challenge, and move you deeply.
Dr Robert Haddad: In a world filled with confusion and competing voices, Robert explores the timeless question: What is truth? His high-impact talk, will reveal how living in truth leads us to freedom, purpose, and authentic love.
Mrs Tinah Deluca- Tohi: As a mother of 12, Tinah’s powerful story is a testament to the importance of raising children in the faith. She shares how her deep trust in God carried her through the heartbreaking loss of her teenage son, Emmanuel. This is one of the most hope-filled, inspiring, and emotionally moving testimonies you will hear.
Wishing all our Year 6 students every gift and fruit of the Holy Spirit as they finalise their Confirmation formation this week, and prepare to receive the Sacrament next Wednesday and Thursday night.
Go gently, every blessing.
