This fortnight's Spotlight is on....
Year 3
This term, Year 3 have been exploring the art of informative writing. To make their writing more engaging, they've been learning about the key elements, including the use of technical vocabulary. As part of their learning, the children took part in a ‘Word Walk,’ where they identified and added technical vocabulary to various images. These words will serve as valuable reference points throughout the unit, helping them strengthen their understanding and application of informative writing.
Year 4
In Year 4 it has been a very busy start to our term. Year 4 have been exploring perimeter and Length in Maths these past 2 weeks. Below are students estimating and exploring how to create and find the perimeter of a kite.
The students have been amazing at caring for our Class stick Insects and now our class room Fish, Mr Fishy. Our insects have grown so much over the past few months.
