On Friday 31st July, students are invited to wear PYJAMAS and bring a $5 donation to support the Catholic Education Foundation (CEF).
The CEF provides bursaries to families across Sydney Catholic Schools who may be experiencing financial, social or cultural hardship. These bursaries help students access and remain in a Catholic education, ensuring they can continue to learn, grow and belong.
In the past year, the CEF supported more than 7,900 students, which is more than 1 in 10 across our system. Behind every bursary is a child who can stay with their friends, a family supported through a difficult season, and a student who can continue to thrive.
By participating in this appeal, our school joins a system wide effort to support students and families across the Archdiocese, including those within our own community. All funds raised go directly to the CEF Bursary Fund.
Thank you for your continued generosity and support.
Mass: Friday 7th August 9am

St Mary of the Cross MacKillop is Australia’s first saint and a woman whose life continues to inspire people across the country. Born in 1842, Mary dedicated herself to helping those who were poor, lonely, or struggling. She founded the Sisters of Saint Joseph with Father Tenison Woods, and together they opened schools and provided support for families who had very little.
Mary lived with deep trust in God and believed strongly in the dignity of every person. Her motto, “In all things love,” guided her choices and shaped the way she served others. She faced many challenges, yet she remained courageous, hopeful, and committed to doing what was right.
Today, Mary MacKillop invites us to notice the needs around us and respond with kindness and compassion. Her life reminds us that ordinary actions, done with love, can make a real difference.
Ever generous God,
You inspired Mary MacKillop with deep faith, courage, and compassion.
Help us to follow her example by noticing those who are in need and responding with love.
May her trust in your providence guide our choices each day.
Through her intercession, grant us the grace we seek.
We make this prayer through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Term 3: Sacrament of Baptism

Date: Sunday 23rd August 9am
Dress Code: Baptism is a joyful celebration where your child is welcomed into the Catholic Church community. Children who are being baptised often choose to wear white as a symbol of new life and belonging in Christ. Traditionally, girls may wear a white dress, and boys may wear a white collared shirt. Please ensure your child is dressed smartly to reflect the spiritual significance and happiness of this special occasion.
Please note that this sacrament is a Parish based event. If you would like an alternative date, I kindky ask that you email the parish office to arrange this.
