Life Under the Lens

Knowldege Rich Unit - Life Cycles (Biological Science)

To start off this term, the students recently became wildlife experts by researching the fascinating life cycles of various animals. They showcased their discoveries on vibrant posters, using clear, single-paragraph outlines to describe each stage of growth. This creative project helped the children master the art of summarizing complex science into an engaging and easy-to-read format! Check out our final products below:

Numeracy

The students have been mastering the building blocks of math by exploring fractions through visual representations like pictures, collections and number lines. They are learning to identify equivalent fractions and understand complementary pairs that join together to make a whole.

Wellbeing

Our students are currently exploring the complex world of emotions, learning to identify their feelings and understand how these internal cues drive their reactions. Through guided discussions, they are discovering healthy ways to navigate different social situations and manage their responses with greater self-awareness and empathy.

House Cross Country

It was inspiring to see every student give their absolute best as they pushed through the house cross-country race with incredible determination. From the starting whistle to the final stretch, their school spirit shone through as everyone successfully crossed the finish line to complete the challenging course.
